2024 Symposium: The New Art - Treasures from the William L. Schaeffer Collection at the Metropolitan Museum of Art

Jeff Rosenheim, curator in charge of the Photography department at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, kicked off the morning session with a 45-minute preview of the Met’s recently acquired William L. Schaeffer Collection of American photography (1839–1910), which will go on display in April 2025. Presented at the 2024 Daguerreian Society Symposium in Houston, Texas on October 18, 2024.
